CHHATTISGARH Govt to develop tourist spots in surguja forests   The State Government is planning to develop tourist destinations in forests of Surguja region, officials informed. CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh tourism board to launch ‘tourism on wheels’ campaign   In an endeavour to promote and attract adventure tourism in form of ‘Bicycle Tourism,’ the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB) is launching its campaign ‘Tourism on Wheels’.   Under the campaign, Tour-De-Raipur would be organised from January 14 while Tour-De-Chhattisgarh would be held from January 26.   The Tour-De-Chhattisgarh which is being organised with collaboration of Nagpur based organisation would start from Marine Drive on January 26.   The riders in it would have to travel around 400 kms via Sirpur, Barnavapara, Gagrel, Kondagaon, Chitrakot, Tirathgarh, Kutambsar and would end ... Archaeological sites of Chattishgarh Malhar Malhar is a small town situated in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh, India. It has archaeological significance. It is 40 km away from Bilaspur by road. In Malhar, many ancient temples have been found, such as the Pataleshwar temple, the Devri temple & the Dindeshwari temple. Ancient deposits and Jain memorials were also found here.
