CHHATTISGARH Chhattisgarh east west rail corridor may complete by 2020   The Chhattisgarh East-West Rail Corridor project is expected to be complete by 2020, officials informed.   The proposed track from  Gevra Road to Pendra via Dipka, Katghora, Sindurgarh and Pasan has a length of 135 km, Urga- Kusmunda has a length of about 16 km and Feeder Lines of about 35 km. CHHATTISGARH Gis based sweeping of streets in bilaspur soon   The Bilaspur Municipal Corporation (BMC) will go for GIS based mechanical sweeping of streets under Smart City Mission, officials informed.   The BMC will be developing ‘Common Municipal Solid Waste Management Facility’ (CMSWMF) for treatment and disposal of municipal solid waste generated from domestic, commercial, industrial activities.     The solid waste being generated in the city is presently being openly disposed off in open dumping. CHHATTISGARH Creda To Install Solar-Based Water Purification Systems   Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Authority (CREDA) will be installing solar photo voltaic water purification system in various locations of the State.   Notably, Chhattisgarh will procure additional power from renewable energy sources to the tune of approximately 700 MW by FY 2018.   With this the average power purchase cost for Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd (CSPDCL) based on the above power availability will increase from Rs 2.58 /kWh in FY 2015-16 to Rs 3.12 /kWh in FY 2018, the officials further informed.   The rates have been derived based ...
