CHHATTISGARH Govt developing app to improve school learning outcomes   The Chhattisgarh Government under its Shalakosh project is rolling out an App called “COSMO”, which will be installed on Tablets that will be provided to Government run schools in every district, officials informed.   This app will enable the teachers to improve learning outcomes in schools and will provide all services of an education specific ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool.   The government already has several m-governance apps available for citizens today – m-CHOiCE for e-district services, Bhuiyan for land records, CG-DPR for government news and announcements, Chhattisgarh Tourism App ... CHHATTISGARH Rajnandgaon ranked 2nd in country among 101 aspirational districts Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh stands second in the  baseline ranking for the 101 aspirational districts in the country created by NITI Aayog with score of 47.96 per cent.   This programme is a policy priority of  the Central Government.   NITI Aayog anchors the programme with support from Central Ministries and the State Governments. CHHATTISGARH Vayosri yojana’ to be launched in three dists   Union Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry had launched ‘Vayosri Yojana’ for supplying any aid to senior citizens as per their requirements.The project will be launched at Bilaspur, Raigarh and  Janjgir-Champa districts, the Central Government has informed.   About 520 senior citizens in Raipur, 480 senior citizens in Bastar and 322 senior citizens in Bijapur had been identified for the scheme.   Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched ‘Vayosri Yojana’ and gifted hearing aid to senior citizen at village Jangla district Bijapur on April 14.   As per the Census figures ... CHHATTISGARH PM flags off historic train service in maoist heartland   Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated historic railway line and passenger train service in insurgency infested Kanker district in North Bastar.   The Prime Minister gifted the long-awaited link on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of architect of Constitution Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at village Jangla in Bijapur district via video-conferencing.   The railway track links Dallhirajhara in Balod  district to Bhanupratapur in North Bastar.   The track is part of the 235 kilometres rail project linking Dallhirajhara -Ravghat-Jagdalpur.   Modi congratulated the citizens of the State while ... CHHATTISGARH 55,81,443 smart cards prepared in c’garh so far   Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Thursday that a total of 61,96,110 smart cards are targetted to be made under National Health Insurance Scheme and Chief Minster Health Insurance Scheme. In a written reply to BJP member Shivratan Sharma, he said that 55,81,443 smart cards had been made so far in the state. CHHATTISGARH Centre okays setting up of tribunal for settling mahanadi water dispute   The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister  Narendra Modi has approved the proposal for adjudication of dispute on Mahanadi River waters.   The Tribunal shall determine water sharing among basin States on the basis of the overall availability of water in the complete Mahanadi basin, contribution of each State, the present utilization of water resources in each State and the potential for future development.   It is expected that with adjudication of dispute by the Tribunal, the long-pending dispute between States of Odisha and Chhattisgarh on ...
