CHHATTISGARH Green signal to 30 new govt colleges  Chief Minister Raman Singh approved opening of 30 new Government Colleges which will be started in upcoming academic session 2018-19. Higher Education Department Minister Prem Prakash Pandey said that 105 new Government Colleges had been started during the past few years. CHHATTISGARH C’garh rice varieties could help fight cancer  Scientists have claimed to have detected anti-cancer properties in three traditional varieties of rice found in Chhattisgarh. A research has concluded that three medicinal varieties of rice – Gathwan, Maharaji and Laicha – have the ability to fight cancer, said scientist Deepak Sharma.
